    Abstract:Objectives:To explore appropriate application of parenteral nutritional support in elderly.Methods:66 patients(age¡Ý75 years) received parenteral nutrition over 5 days.When parenteral nutrition is applied,average non-protein calorie intake was 75.3 kJ/(kg.d),NPC¡ÃN value was 116¡Ã1.Results:The nutritional indices did not change and were kept within normal range during parenteral nutrition except for ALT,AKP,¦Ã-GT.Conclusions:In elderly,calorie intake should be less than 104.6 kJ/(kg.d),and protein supply of 0.8¡«1.2 g/(kg.d) be suitable.
